DB AG has already started decommissioning the V 160/216 locomotives. The former 216 032 locomotive, on the other hand, is being used throughout Germany by Wiebe Gleisbau Maschinen GmbH. Wiebe Gleisbau Maschinen GmbH purchased the 216 032 via Francesco Ventura in Paola/Italy.
